Facilities

The center is a state of the art building designed and built to the owner's specifications as a childcare facility. The facility has many features that provide a safe, clean environment for the children and enhance classroom management for teachers. A security door, security camera, and observation windows monitor visitors to the center. Well designed classrooms feature a variety of rich learning centers, areas for children to work and learn independently, a cozy reading area with couch and carpet, and a circle time area for stories and group activities.

The early learning classrooms support children's basic functions and learning activities from a child's perspective. Toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, drinking fountains, tables and chairs, and low shelves are at the child's level and child-sized. Each Preschool room has separate his and hers bathrooms.

The Crouthers Academy is an Eco-friendly school where children are healthier and more productive because we emphasize day lighting, acoustics, and classroom design. Crouthers Academy employs enviromentally responsible cleaning practices and products. Green schools have superior air quality which significantly reduces student's exposure to chemicals and environmental toxins.

A major portion of a child's day is spent in play. Children develop, physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually through play. To help facilitate these play experiences, whether indoors or outdoors, the Crouthers Academy provides a safe play environment with plenty of appropriate play equipment.
