The morning starts with Circle Time, then learning centers open with intentional activities: writing practice, math manipulatives, science investigation, dramatic play with vocabulary-building prompts.

A Midday Reset…

A full hour of outdoor play before lunch gives children the movement break their brains need. After a tasty lunch together, it’s quiet time — books, puzzles, drawing, or rest for those who still need it.

Afternoons Are Active…

Afternoon snacks are followed by more outdoor time: gross motor play and free exploration with friends.

Circle Time Is Where Everything Comes Together

Every morning, the Pre-K class gathers for Circle Time to practice counting, calendar skills, and letter sounds. They answer questions out loud, share their ideas, and learn to listen to others.
For a four or five-year-old, speaking in a group setting is a big skill. Circle Time builds it every single day, so that by the time they walk into a kindergarten classroom and the teacher asks a question, your child is the one with their hand up.
